Chemical Engineering

Hi! I’m a junior studying Chemical Engineering, and I live with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and other related conditions. I started facing serious health issues in high school, which sparked my passion for disability advocacy. Despite the obstacles, I became an Eagle Scout, made it to Cornell, and started speaking openly about my challenges. During my sophomore year, I struggled with a severe health issue and found that support was often limited, both socially and academically. Now that my health has improved, I’m more committed than ever to helping other students navigate similar challenges. Living with a disability has shaped every part of my academic and personal life, and I want to improve accessibility and support systems, especially for students with physical disabilities and mental health conditions. Everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered on this campus.
